ADA – Separate characters for the blind and sighted.

A man and a woman, both smiling, stand outdoors under a clear blue sky. The man wears a cap, holds a golf bag, and the woman is in an orange shirt. They appear to be on a golf course. The number "324" is in the top right corner, with a "Village Cooperative" logo in the bottom right, and braille writing in the bottom left.

One sign with seperate Visual & Tactile text provides more design flexibility.

ADA Requirement:  “703 Signs703.1 General. Signs shall comply with 703. Where both visual and tactile characters are required, either one sign with both visual and tactile characters, or two separate signs, one with visual, and one with tactile characters, shall be provided.”

Raised text and braille is more obvious  in different light conditions.
