2010 ADA Law - When does it go into effect?

The DOJ published revised regulations for Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 in the Federal Register on September 15, 2010.The enforceable "2010 Standards" set minimum requirements for:

 

COMPLIANCE DATE FOR TITLE II:  Construction start dates on or after March 15, 2012.

 

State government facilities and local government facilities (Title II)

 

Public accommodations and Commercial facilities (Title III)
